Gohighlevel form submission to convertKit: add new subscriber

I’m trying to create a Zap that connects GoHighLevel to ConvertKit, where a new form submission in GoHighLevel adds a subscriber to ConvertKit.

However, I’m running into issues:

Zapier didn’t prompt me for an API key for GoHighLevel, so I’m unsure how it’s connecting to my specific subaccount.
I’m unable to select the form I need in GoHighLevel, as it’s not showing up in Zapier.
I couldnt find the option to just "add a new subscriber" for convertkit
At one point, Zapier suggested using ClickUp, which seems unrelated to this workflow.
Can you help me understand how to properly connect my GoHighLevel subaccount with ConvertKit via Zapier?

Hi @Davidch

The GHL Zap app is called LeadConnector.

Zap app triggers/actions: https://zapier.com/apps/leadconnector/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Help: https://zapier.com/apps/leadconnector/integrations

Try this tip to connect apps to Zapier:

ConvertKit Zap app triggers/actions: https://zapier.com/apps/convertkit/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Try one of these: (screenshot)

Hey Troy,

I’m aware of leadconnector however that just lets you set one trigger event “pipeline stage change” and I’m trying to have the trigger be a new form submission in go high level which is not possible with the lead connector app. I tried using v7 to connect GHL’s API to zapier but it never prompts me to do so.

I appreciate the answer but finding a way to connect this GHL trigger is the problem And lead connector does not help for that.

Also that convertkit trigger adds someone to a specific form, not necessarily create a new subscriber from scratch but I’m assuming by doing so it’ll inevitably create one so not concerned about that, I was really asking if there was a way to just create a new one after a GHL Form is submitted

Hey @Davidch ,

Can you check if you got form id in or form name the Trigger Data Out? You can use to filter the Zap and run only on certain form id

@Davidch

Look into using native GHL automations to fire a webhook.

Zap trigger: Webhook - Catch Hook

This will generate a unique webhook URL to configure in GHL.
