So All I want to do is find any attachments coming to my gmail account and upload to a google drive folder.

I have 2 steps

  1. new attachment in gmail

Gmail - New Attachment

Account - authenticated

customize - I chose inbox with search string has:attachment

find data - shows a current email in my inbox that has an attachment

  1. upload file to google drive

Google Drive - Upload File

Account - authorized

customize - drive > folder >

File  > attachment exists, but not shown

Convert - False

Test - it WORKS!  I get the test pdf document uploaded into my google drive

So I send a new email with a PDF to the gmail account and nothing happens.

It seems like maybe I was just not waiting long enough.  The manula search doesn’t seem to do any searching and never find any current unopened documents in my gmail account.  However, a new email did work after waiting the 15 minutes.

This can be closed!

The Gmail Triggers are NOT Instant, so the trigger lag can be from 1-15 minutes depending on your Zapier plan.
