Hello all,

 

I am rather confused here and I would like to ask for your help.

I want to use the GMail Add-On.

I want to create a custom Zap that is triggered by the Add-On.

 

But I cannot see any way to do it. Is it only possible to use what is predefined or am I missing something?

What do you mean by Gmail Add On? Also, What are you trying to build on Zapier?

  1. I mean the Zapier Gmail Add-On that they provide
  2. I want to add emails to my CRM but want a manual trigger, and additional fields that are manually added
  3. zapier push is not ok, because the data in additional fields is not structured

Gmail body data will never be in structured format. It will come as a single paragraph. If you want to format it, than you should use Code by Zapier to format. 

 

My first issue is if I can add a custom zap to the add-on, or I can only use the templates provided.

 

once this is solved I will address the second problem of how to get the data I need.
