Getting "Error parsing response. We got: !DOCTYPE html when trying to send a subscriber to Klaviyo

So we’re trying to set up a zap that triggers when someone completes a form on instapage which should send add that person to a subscriber list in Klaviyo. For context, we have two potential forms that can be filled out with different parameters - essentially a ‘true’ or ‘false’ depending on which button you pressed (and subsequently which form you filled in).

 

When testing to send a sub to Klaviyo, I’m met with the error 

The subscriber could not be sent to Klaviyo.

Error parsing response. We got: "<!DOCTYPE html>

 

Does anyone know why this is or how to solve?

Error is likely due to this field, try instead to select a value from the dropdown list rather than mapping a dynamic value.

Thank you for this - has fixed the error and successfully sent a sub to Klaviyo. Issue now is that we cannot see the sub in Klaviyo nor can we see anything in the zap history?

The Zap says it was successful, but the subscriber wasn't added to the list

If your list is set to use double opt-in in Klaviyo, new subscribers won't be added to the list right away, but will receive a confirmation email.
Once the person confirms that they want to opt-in, they will then appear on the list.
