How do I create an automation:

Upon Ticket status update (and type)

Create a new Deal in FreshSales

We already have FreshDesk syncing with FreshSales - but want to generate a new Deal based off FreshDesk ticket criteria.

Hi @Fresher

Help us have more info by posting screenshots showing how your Zap step 3 is configured in the CONFIGURE tab in EDIT mode with the field mappings.

Hi @Fresher,

Welcome to the Community.

To automate the creation of new deals in FreshSales based on ticket status updates in Freshdesk. Start by setting Freshdesk as the trigger app with "New Ticket" or "Updated Ticket" as the trigger event. Optionally, add a filter to target specific ticket statuses. Then, set FreshSales as the action app and choose "Create Deal" as the action event. Map relevant Freshdesk ticket data (Ticket Subject to Deal Name) to FreshSales fields, test the Zap, and activate it. This ensures new deals are automatically created in FreshSales when tickets meet your criteria in Freshdesk.

You can also send a screenshot of your Zap so we can pinpoint where the error is coming from. Ensure to obscure any sensitive information within the screenshot for security purposes. Thank you.

Here is a snip:

I wasn’t sure if an additional step is needed to filter the Ticket Type (so this doesn’t occur on all ticket updates).

On the next step, the Zap can’t populate the Account Name

Our Freshdesk has a 3-rd party app to sync FreshSales, which syncs the Contact and Company info back to FreshDesk from FreshSales.

Any suggestions?

Here is a snip if we try to add a step between the 2 steps above to ‘Find Contact’ in Fresh Desk

Hi there @Fresher,

It looks like the mapped data in the “Account Name” field is null that could be the reason the “Account Name” field is not being populated in Freshsales Suite. Could you please try creating a new sample data in Freshdesk and ensure that mapped data on the “Account Name” field contains data?

I'll be keeping an eye out for your response!
