Hey!

I need a way to set up a reply to the last email (gmail) thread that was answer by a client.

So i dont want to create a new email thread, i want lo reply to one that already exits, and i want to find the more recent one.

I tried using the “Find email” from gmail but i dont know how to set it up to find automatically the one with the more recent answer.

And then i put the “Send email” step.

Any help is appreciate!

Hi @Erwin Moller

Good question.

Have you tried using this Zap action: Gmail Reply to Email

@Troy Tessalone Thanks! I know that you could use a “find email” step to fill the “Thread” option.

But i want to know how to set up the “Find email” to find the last email thread that was answer by the client (person that is not me).

@Erwin Moller

Can you clarify your Zap trigger step?
Are you using this Zap trigger: Gmail New Email Matching Search

Zap Steps

  1. Trigger: Gmail - New Email Matching Search
  2. Action: Gmail - Reply to Email

@Erwin Moller

Have you reviewed the description underneath the Search String field in the Gmail Find Email action?

Here’s the mentioned link: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/7190?hl=en

The Zap will return the most recent found email.
