Hi,

I’ve been looking at creating a Zap to create a Webinar Registrant in Zoom using the New Lead Created trigger in Dynamics.

The problem is, I want to filter on what type of Leads can create a registrant. We have leads coming in from a large number of sources, but obviously, I only want leads related to registering for that particular Zoom event to create the registrant.

Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this?

Try adding a Filter step to the Zap: https://zapier.com/apps/filter/help

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately, I seem to be only able to filter on a small number of fields, and the field that I need to filter on, ‘Topic’ isn’t available.

Can you post screenshots with what variables are available to filter against?

Are you able to leverage an existing available variable to include some sort of identifier to use in a Filter step?

Thanks for getting back to me. Screenshots below. I’m afraid not, most of these fields aren’t of any relevance and wouldn’t distinguish the Lead that was created.

Try submitting a real record, then pulling thru newer samples to see if additional data points are present: https://zapier.com/help/create/basics/change-the-test-data-in-your-zap-trigger
