Hi all,

Fairly new to the scene so Google and this community already has been of great help. However, I can’t seem to find an answer to this.

When a Fillout form has been created I would love that the attachments (always 1 or more pictures uploaded from a phone) automatically upload to a Google Drive.

I have succeeded in uploading a txt document but not the pictures. What step do I have to include in order to have the pictures in picture format (.jpg/.png/...) in the Drive?

Thanks all for your suggestions!

E.

Hi @bocal

Help us have more info by posting screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings.

TIPS:

Hi @bocal,

Just to advise, when posting a screenshot to the Community, it is essential to obscure any sensitive information within the screenshot for security purposes. Thank you. We're looking forward to troubleshooting your issue further.

Thank you for the feedback. I have the screenshots attached and there is no sensitive info. The current .jpg files are now being uploaded in a .txt file instead of a .jpg.

Is this helpful?

Hmm, I uploaded some screenshots but apparently they don’t come through?

The issue is that when the files are copied to the G Drive I get a txt file with the links, not the actual images.

Hey @bocal 👋

Looks like your previous post was inadvertently caught by our Spam filter - sorry about that, we’ve approved the posts now! 🙂

It looks like you might be running into some trouble here as the selected Pj Rt Xa Vz 1 Kwcm 4 Zyb 3 T 4 P 9 Filename field contains multiple file names, instead of a single file object or a publicly-accessible link to download the file:

Does the Fillout trigger have a field that contains the individual file object (often appear as “Exists but not shown”) or a public download file link? If so, can you try selecting that field instead?

If there are multiple file objects/links contained within the selected field then you may need to use Looping by Zapier to have each one uploaded to Google Drive separately. You can find out more about how to use loops in your Zap here: Loop your Zap actions

Can you give that a try and let us know how you get on? Happy to assist further if you get stuck at all!

I have found a workaround. The URLs were all collected in 1 field so I had to parse the field to obtain the separate URLS which than could be saved to my Drive. Thanks for advice, it’s with your input I managed to find you a solution.

That’s awesome news @bocal! I’m so glad you were able to get it sorted - great work! 🙌

Please do reach out to the Community if you need help with anything else down the line. Until then, happy Zapping! ⚡️
