Question

Fill a PDF sending a Slack message, then sending back the filled PDF to the same Slack channel

Hi!
I want to send a message in Slack, prefill a pdf with that message, and send the filled pdf back to the same Slack channel.

1. The PDF that will be used will be always the same template
2. The message sent on the Slack channel will always fill the same fields on the PDF.

 

The example of the message would be:


Amount:  $152,813.00 MXN
Fee:  $40.00 USD
Date:  November 04, 2024, 9:20
Account Number:  3919610
Subtotal:  $7,500.00 USD
Total:  $7,500.00 USD

 

I want the text that isn’t in bold to be the one being filled in the PDF

It looks like you can use a document parser app for your desired workflow. There are several services that offer this functionality on our apps page in the Documents category: https://zapier.com/apps/categories/documents
