Fathom to Jira Action - possibility to connect more info?

Hi, 

 

I recently set up a Zap to push action items generated in Fathom to Jira. 

 

Is it also possible to add the customer info in the summary / title based on the info of Fathom? Fathom does know the information (Our fathom automatically pushes conversations to the corresponding account) - but I cant seem to find how to add this to my issues in Jira. 

 

Please keep in mind there is a Looping involved.

Yeah it’s possible. 

Here are all the triggers/actions for Jira in Zapier- https://zapier.com/apps/jira-software-cloud/integrations

Your sample workflow will look something like this-

  • New action item trigger
  • Looping by Zapier
  • Create issue action

Here is a helpful article about Looping in Zapier- https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496106701453-Loop-your-Zap-actions. This is a sample workflow and you may need to add extra actions like Filter, Formatter etc as workflows are usually personalized to user’s needs. Hope it helps!

I have that set up, I am looking for a way to make visible who my customer is in the Jira Board

As said previously, to make the issue available in Jira you will have to follow this-

Your sample workflow will look something like this-

  • New action item trigger
  • Looping by Zapier
  • Create issue action

 

You can dynamically map the data from the Fathom trigger. Hope it helps!
