Exclusion of private events from Google calendar new event trigger

We are using Zaps to create new events in a shared Google calendar when a team member creates an event in their personal calendar. Is there any method by which these new personal calendar events can be filtered so only public events trigger the Zap workflow and private events are excluded?

You can also use a Filter step so that the Zap will only continue onto the next actions if the event is public. You can learn more about filters here: https://zapier.com/help/create/customize/add-conditions-to-zaps-with-filters

Hey Mike. Try using Zapier paths. They run the task based on the condition set up by you. There will be difference in the data collected by zapier between public and private events
