I have an Airtable set up where every record has a Google Doc link in it. I would like to set up a Zapier where the word count from the Google Doc is automatically added to a field in Airtable. I think I’ve got everything set up except for how to actually get the word count from Google Doc. I’ve played around quite a bit with the Google API, but I’m quite the beginner and am stumped. Could anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Good question.

You may have issues if the GDoc files have a lot of text as there may be character limits.

Then try using this Zap action: Formatter > Text > Word Count
