I have a zap set up that is effectively 1.Contact Form 7 that 2. triggers an email using Zapier mail and then 3. creates a legacy lead in Salesforce. The leads are getting created but multiple emails are being sent to all the recipients. I am one those recipients so I see that I get 4 emails for every form submission. Any ideas why this might be happening?

Can you post screenshots of your setup?

Is there a reason you are using the legacy version of Catch Hook?

Hi @bowmankelley

Check your Zap Runs to determine if the Zap webhook trigger is being triggered multiple times: https://zapier.com/app/history/

@Troy Tessalone It seems like it is only running once.

1. Found 1 new request in Webhooks.

2. Sent 1 new Outbound Email to Email.

3. Sent 1 new Lead to Salesforce (Legacy).

@AppGuyAaron It was set up before I inherited the account.

@bowmankelley

If the Zap is only triggering once, then the Send Email should only run once per Zap trigger.

You may want to open a ticket with Zapier Support so they can investigate further: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

@Troy Tessalone Actually it seems as if the zap itself is running correctly but there are two identical zap runs with the user who submitted the form’s info in there. So the form submission happened twice it seems. That could be user error I guess. But if I look at the zap history I can see that each form submission comes in groups of two or sometimes 4 zap runs. So maybe I am looking in the wrong place.

Best advice would be this for now:
