Hi there,

I am just beginning and a wanting to set up a Zapier between Sutra (my online booking system) and Mailchimp.

This is what I need it to do:
Whenever anyone purchases something in Sutra, it tags my client in Mail chimp for that unique purchase. I have set up my Zapier account and connected to Sutra and Mailchimp no problem. I have been able to create a zap for a new purchase but can't see where to instruct it to be for a specific purchase - not just a new purchase in general - is this possible?
For eg: when someone purchases my online course, I want them to be tagged in Mailchimp for that specific course and kept separate for eg from someone that purchases a 10 concession pass and so on. I want all my different offerings tagged separately in Mailchimp.

Is it because I am on a free account - do I need to upgrade?  I am a small biz and work alone and don’t have a big volume of clients.

Good question.

 

You can try mapping the desired Item name to the Tags field using the ‘custom’ option.

 

OR

 

Try adding a Filter as Step 2 in your Zap: https://zapier.com/apps/filter/help

Repeat for each Product as it’s own Zap.

 

Thankyou - can I do these possible actions on a free account?  Or do I need to upgrade?

Sutra doesn’t have a Zap app: https://zapier.com/apps

I wasn’t able to find other GSearches related to Sutra and Zapier.

 

If you use a Filter in a Zap then that will require a Zapier paid plan since Zaps with 3+ steps require paid plans.

Perhaps Sutra is a private Zap app, which is why it’s not listed as a public app here: https://zapier.com/apps
