Daily Digest 2 release times for the summary

Hey, 

I really like the feature of daily digest by zapier - what I wanted to do is a daily diget which is send out twice a day at a specific time.
First Time at 9am and the other one 6pm.

How can I accomplish this one?

I just want to ask, what trigger app are you going to use because there is no trigger available for the Digest by Zapier app?

Also, you can use the Delay by Zapier app for the workflow that you want to achieve.

sorry for the confusion.

Trigger is Xero- Draft invoice creation

Those drafts should be send as a summary twice a day (9am + 6pm) to a specific slack channel.

 

Hope this clarifies the case :-)

For the Xero Zap trigger, please clarify which of these you are using.

 

Try these Zaps

Zap 1

  1. Trigger: Xero - ???
  2. Action: Digest - Append Entry and Schedule Digest
    1. Frequency: Manual

 

Zap 2 & Zap 3

  1. Trigger: Schedule - Daily
    1. 9AM
    2. 6PM
  2. Action: Digest - Release Existing Digest
  3. Action: Slack - Send Channel Message

Hi @Troy Tessalone ,

thanks for your detailed answers.

 

First Trigger would bei New Bill in draft status, but I also want to follow up this one later, when it gets approved after informing people via slack that there is a new draft bill. (maybe this is also possible to import directly in this zap as well)

Looking forward to get your thoughts on that.

There is no Xero trigger for Updated Bill, so you’d have to explore workarounds for triggering on an approved bill.

@Troy Tessalone got it - best thing would be to set up the same Zap for this approved once again I guess // I´m not exactly understand how I´m able to set two times in the digest step before using the release step.
Do I have to set two digest one for 9am and one for 6pm?

I understand what you have written like the attached screenshot - so the only missing part would be 6pm release correct?

“Trigger: Schedule” is not available to place after Digest (see also attached screenshot)
