I am very new to Zapier and am feeling a little overwhelmed.

I am having a user fill out a google form and upload a PDF. Then I need zapier to pull that PDF from the google form/drive and send to chatGPT to anaylyze it. HOWEVER, I have written a custom prompt that I want to use to tell chatGPT HOW to analyze the PDF and in turn have it generate a customized response, based on the prompt formatting and what it analyzes. Then it should send that response to the user via gmail.

I’m working on a business where I have a custom chatGPT prompt that analyzes files a specifc way that I tell it to. The prompt version I have now is over 5 pages long. Some versions for different applications are longer like 12 pages. In turn, it generates a specific response based on the analysis of the PDF file the user submits. And it’s been prompted to generate a response a specific way. And then I need it to send to the users gmail.

Hi @Malakai,

Welcome to the Community.

Setting up a multi-step Zap with Google Forms, Google Drive, ChatGPT, and Gmail can feel complex, but here’s a basic workflow: Trigger the Zap with a new Google Forms response, find the corresponding PDF in Google Drive, convert it to text for ChatGPT to analyze, generate a response, and send it via Gmail. Since ChatGPT doesn’t directly analyze PDFs, you may need a third-party tool.

I hope this helps. Let us know if you have further questions.
