I am trying to create a zap that creates a card inside of trello after a form submission. I got everything to work however I figured out that inside of the “ trello zapp “ there is no option to target the adress-field inside of trello.

I really hope this going to be added in a future update of the integration. We could really use this in our workflow.

But for the time being.. Is there anyone who knows a workaround for this?

Hi @ChargeCars

Good question.

Feedback and feature requests should be submitted via a ticket to Zapier Support to be logged: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

The likely workaround would involve using the Trello API: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/trello/rest/api-group-cards/#api-cards-post

App APIs can be used in Zaps with the Webhooks app as an action step: https://zapier.com/apps/webhook/help

If you need help consider hiring a Zapier Expert: https://zapier.com/experts

Hey there, @ChargeCars! Thanks for reaching out and sharing that feedback!

I did some digging and you’re right the address field isn’t currently supported in the “Create Card” action. 😔 There is feature request open for this that I added your vote to though! While I can’t guarantee when or if this will be implemented we’ll definitely email you if anything changes. We’ll also keep the thread updated as well!

In the meantime, Troy mentioned Webhooks by Zapier and the Trello API as a workaround. Which is totally an option, it’s worth mentioning it is a bit more of an advanced approach though so support around this may be limited. As he mentioned as well if you’d rather hire someone to take this on for you a Zapier Expert is a good place to start. 🙂

Here’s a few more resources to get you started with that in the meantime:

I hope this helps and keep us posted with any other questions!
