Hey everyone, 

 

I use the Zapier expansion for creating Trello Boards from Google Sheets. 

Currently we use a Questionarie for our drivers and they have to check in and check out. If they do have an issue there is a extra section for them to fill out. 

 

My question is now, is there a way to create a Trello Card ONLY if the Collums are filled?

I already searched a bit on my self but I found nothing. Does anyone got an idea?

Yes, there is a way.  Lets say you have 3 columns in Google Sheet, than you can add a Zapier filter like below.

sorry for the late awnser I was pretty busy. 

I did not know there was a filter and try it out but found out that this is a premium feature. 

Is there any way for a free way? 

Hey @DerSucher , there is no other way.. You need a filter to handle business logic.

Hi @DerSucher 

A workaround would be to use Airtable instead of GSheets.

Airtable has Views, which have Filters: https://support.airtable.com/hc/en-us/articles/202624989-Guide-to-views

Then the Zap trigger would be Airtable New Record in View.

This would replace the need for using a Filter step in the Zap.

NOTE: There are other factors that may necessitate the need to have a Zapier paid plan.
