Question

"Create Notion Database Item" don't use template.

Hey everyone!

Just joined the Zapier community and I'm loving this automation app. Right now, I'm setting up an automation between Hubspot and Notion. In Notion, I have two pages: "Clients" (which has client contact info) and "Projects" (where clients can find useful links and info).

 

Here's what I've got so far:

  1. When the Lead Status updates to "open" on Hubspot,
  2. Create a new entry in the Clients database in Notion with the contact info from Hubspot.
  3. Create a new entry in Project database in Notion named [Hubspot Contact Company Name] x Jean-Baptiste.

However, even though I've set up a default template as "New page", when the last step is completed, it still creates a blank page. I remember seeing a request about this last year, is there another way to go about it?
