Thanks so much in advance!

Hi folks,

Circling back in here to share that the feature request has been implemented. A New Attachment trigger has been added to the Microsoft Outlook app making it possible to now trigger on new email attachments that are received! 🎉🎉🎉

If you run into any trouble with using that new trigger please do let us know. And until then, happy Zapping! 😁⚡

Hi @Spark1s24

What email app are you using? (e.g. Gmail)

If Gmail, then check out the New Attachment trigger.

Check out the available triggers/actions/searches for each app:

@Spark1s24

Outlook doesn’t have a specific Zap app trigger for New Attachment.

Just wanted to follow up here to add that there is an existing feature request for the ability to trigger on new attachments with the Microsoft Outlook integration.

@Spark1s24, I’ve added added your vote to that feature request. I can’t give an ETA as to when it would be possible but we’ll follow up with you by email as soon as it is!

For anyone else that’s also looking to do this, it maybe worth setting up a Gmail account so that you can use Gmail’s New Attachment trigger. Then in Outlook you can set up a rule to automatically forward certain emails to that Gmail account. That way you’ll be able to trigger on those email attachments. You can find out how to set up forwarding rules in Outlook here: Use rules to automatically forward messages
