Create a recurring Xero invoice

Is there a way to create a recurring Xero invoice through Zapier?

The “Create a sales invoice in Xero” action seems to only create once-off invoices (with a single date + due date).

I’d like to create a repeating invoice (as you can within Xero itself) which repeats every x months/weeks.

Hey @EA NZ ,

 

I don’t think it is possible currently. XERO don’t have API endpoint to create recurring invoice. You can read more on XERO Community. Below are some links for your reference -

Could you use a schedule by zapier trigger that happens every x months/weeks as a trigger, then us the single “create sales invoice” action to create the one-off, just on a recurring basis?

Agreed, @jayeshkumarbhatia, looks like the API doesn’t support that option directly.

That’s an interesting workaround @AppGuyAaron… not sure if that will do the trick in our case, but I’ll have a play around and see what might be possible.
