Converting word doc to pdf WITH redlines

I’m currently trying to write a zap that will convert a word doc to pdf. I have this working, BUT when converting, the PDF does not show redlines/edits. When I open the same file in my word and print as PDF, it has all the redlines/edits.

 

I’ve tried this with both cloudconvert and convertAPI, and neither seems to have an option to maintain this information when converting to pdf. Do you  know if there are any other services you support will handle including the redlines in pdf conversions?

Hi @shomanishikawa 

Not sure if this will work but you could try using a GDoc.

FYI: All GDoc in GDrive have an available PDF format.

I just wanted to check in here, were you able to try out Troy’s suggestion?

It sounds like the formatting for the PDF file is being stripped when the file is converted. Trying to create the doc in Google Docs could help resolve this issue since Google Docs natively provides a PDF option for their documents.
