How can I connect MS-Excel and MS-Word templates?

Hi there 
We have a Microsoft Excel app integration so you’d be able to take information from the Excel spreadsheets (you can view the available triggers and actions for it here). But creating documents (or templates) in Microsoft Word isn’t supported currently.
There’s an existing feature request to have Microsoft Word supported with the Microsoft Office 365 integration so I’ve added your vote for that. I can’t share any ETA on when this feature request would be implemented, but we’ll be sure notify you by email as soon as it is!
In the meantime, I wonder if you could try using the Google Docs app or Google Drive app to generate the Word documents? I’m not 100% sure if including the file extension of .docx when setting the file name would properly create it as a Microsoft Word file. So you may need to later convert/export them as .docx files. But may be worth a try?
