Hello,

I'm setting up my first 'import' Zap in Zapier Tables and need clarification on task billing. My understanding is that if the first trigger is a Table, any subsequent actions, including code steps, Google Sheets etc won't count toward my task usage. Can you confirm this?

That’s not quite right. A task is an action your Zap successfully completes. In your example, Tables wouldn’t be counted as a task as the trigger - but the code step, Google Sheets, etc, would count as tasks if they completed successfully.
