Hey!

Would love some help here.  I can’t, for the life of me, figure out how to have an item in Monday.com deleted when a Google Cal Event is canceled.  I get all the way to the “ACTION” step in the Monday.com portion of the zap but can’t seem to select the appropriate ITEM ID needed for Monday to recognize when an event is canceled.  

 

Does anyone know how to set this up?

The Item ID field expects the Monday Item ID.

 

Try adding a step to find the Monday Item in order to get the Monday Item ID.

 


sorry not sure I am following - I know it is looking for an ITEM ID but can’t seem to figure out where to pull that from in Monday?

Try these Zap steps:

  1. Trigger: GCal - Event Cancelled
    1. You should save the GCal Event ID in a Column on the Monday Item to search by in Step 2
  2. Action: Monday - Get Item by Column Value
    1. Returns a Monday Item ID
  3. Action: Monday - Delete Item
    1. Map the Monday Item ID from Step 2
