Question

Can I build a home value widget for a non-technical customer's website using Zapier?

I work at a data analytics company and one of our products is an API that returns a home’s value.

Could a build a widget on Zapier that other website owners could place on their website?

I would like a customer to be able to have a simple integration if they are non-technical but want the widget on their site.

Hi @STB

Good question.

You may want to look into the Zapier Developer Platform: https://developer.zapier.com/

Hi @Troy Tessalone,

I was actually doing that today. I started building an integration and have been unable to determine if I get to control the UI of the integration I would build. Is that possible?

@STB

A Zap app integration results in triggers/actions that a Zapier user can include in their Zap steps.

Example for GSheets: https://zapier.com/apps/google-sheets/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Zaps are backend app-to-app data transfers.

Alternatively, you might be able to get creative here and use Zapier to populate/calculate values in Airtable and then build a front-end for them to access that data using something like Glide
