Calendly Date & Time Transform with Formatter (keep getting wrong time)

I’m using a Calendly “Event Invitee Start Time” that I want to send a Zapier Action 1 hour before that time.

I’ve get a Zap step for Formatter by Zapier to Add/Subtract Time using the “Event Invitee Start Time” as the Input Value.

For the “Expression” I’m using -1 hour.

The “To Format” and “From Format” are throwing me off.

What do I need to set these for so that the time is correct?

Screenshots for input data and output data.

Thanks for any input!

Chris

I think it’s working properly. Your original time (13:15) is -6 hours UTC so that means it would be 19:15UTC. Subtract 1 hour would be 18:15UTC as it is outputting.

Thanks Russ… I guess I need to learn how to read UTC times better :-)

It can be very overwhelming, no worries! Happy Zapping!

Hey Russ, would you mind double checking these times? I did another test.

inputs:  2022-08-18T08:15:00-06:00

delay_until_date:  2022-08-18T13:15:00+00:00

Seems that it’s right since the input is 14:15UTC (if I understand the conversion right).  The delay until time is 13:15UTC (which is 1 hour prior to the call).

Am I good?
