I am trying to see if it is possible to have new bookings created in bookingkoala to be sent to jobber and created as a new job. Thus this should sync the calendars together

Hi @qwexecotles

Good question.

The desired BookingKoala trigger is available.

But you’ll likely have to use the Jobber API to create a Job: https://developer.getjobber.com/docs/#about-jobbers-api

App APIs can be used in Zaps with the Webhooks app as an action step: https://zapier.com/apps/webhook/help

When will zapier add the adding a job function to jobber, i see that its in the api

Hi @qwexecotles

Good question.

FYI: Most apps on Zapier are built and maintained by the app developers themselves, Zapier keeps an internal list of app requests, which can be submitted via a ticket to Zapier Support: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

Hey there @qwexecotles! Thanks for reaching out in community!

I wanted to swing by and confirm what Troy mentioned about a “Create New Job” action not being a supported in the Jobber app. He also mentioned many apps are owned and maintained by the app developers, which is true in this case!

That said, I did some digging and it looks like there is an active feature request for a “Create New Job” action that I’ve added your vote to. While it doesn’t guarantee implementation, it does allow the folks at Jobber to track/gauge interest. It’s also the best way to stay in the loop if it does go live as we’ll send an email and keep this thread updated.

If you’re super stoked on the idea I’d recommend contacting Jobber directly to share your feedback. 🙂 Sometimes it helps to hear how their users have envisioned using the product!

As Troy pointed out - you could potentially use the Jobber API and Webhooks by Zapier if you’re comfortable! Here’s a few resources to get you started if you’d like to give that a shot:

It’s worth mentioning this is considered an advanced approach so support may be limited. Of course if you’d rather not fuss, you can always looking into hiring a Zapier Expert to take this on for you. 🤗

I hope some of this helps!
