I want to create new entries in the module “customers” in Zoho CRM and need to link them to several other modules (i.e. Orders, Invoice and a custom module).

So I thought the best way to do this would be:

  • Zap #1: Create a new entry in the module “Customers”
  • Zap #2: Create a new entry in “Orders”
  • Zap #3: Create a new entry in “Invoices”
  • Zap #4: Create a new entry in the custom module
  • Zap #5: And finally run a separate Zap to link all entries

Or is there a better way to link an entry to entries in several other modules?

The result should be that a customer is linked to an order, invoice and an entry in the custom module.

Thanks for help.

Hi @michael291

You should be able to do this all within 1 Zap with multiple steps.

Give that a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi @Troy Tessalone but the problem is, that the Zaps #1–4 link to entries in other modules that have to be created first before being linked to each other. I.e. a customer has a link to entries in the modules Orders, Invoices and the custom module.

Or is it possible to do all within 1 Zap and add a delay (i.e. 1 minute) to wait before proceeding with the next main step?

Would need to see the steps of each Zap in order to evaluate.
