Best practice for sending follow up emails in mailchimp after Webhook triggers?

I am trying to automate a follow up email in Mailchimp for customers who end a subscription. At that point, a webhook is sent to Zapier with that customer data. I also have the Mailchimp campaign set up.

My question here is what are the best practices to transfer that customer info and to mailchimp for the email. It seems that I would need to create a new audience for each webhook, so that the email is only sent to that one customer.  This sounds inefficient.

Is there a better way?

Hi @lindaitalia

Use a Mailchimp Customer Journey.

You can trigger a Mailchimp Customer Journey with a Tag.

You can use MERGE TAGS in a Mailchimp Customer Journey email template. (https://mailchimp.com/help/all-the-merge-tags-cheat-sheet/)

You can configure the Mailchimp Customer Journey settings to allow a subscriber to process thru a Customer Journey multiple times.
