Depending on the options available in the “Find Employee” search, you could potentially set up the following workflow:
- Schedule by Zapier - Run every day
- Search - Find Employee where birthday matches today
- Post to Slack channel
Every search is different, but that should be do-able.

Another option that has worked well for me is to set up a custom email notification in Bamboo HR for birthday reminders. Then your workflow in Zapier could be:
- Watch for email from Bamboo HR/Parse using Zapier Parser or another mail scraper if need be
- Post to Slack Channel
This option would save on a lot of tasks as you wouldn’t be running a task every day to search your employee records and instead letting email notifications do the work for you.
