Like many, we will be forced to transition from Automate.io to Zapier on Oct 31st. Many of our existing Bots are sending dynamic templates from Sendgrid. Based on other threads here, this feature is not supported by Zapier. Will this feature be added to Zapier before Oct? What is the status of this request?

Just popping in here to share the SendGrid integration now supports selecting templates from your Email Template library directly! 🎉
That said, this is only available in the new Send Email action, so if your Zap is still using an older version you'll need to update it to use that action.

FYI: Most apps on Zapier are built and maintained by the app developers themselves, rather than by Zapier.
You can submit feedback and feature requests via a ticket to Zapier Support to be logged: https://zapier.com/app/get-help
Zapier keeps an internal list of app requests, and shares those with the app developers.

As for SendGrid, the workaround you’ll likely go with is to use the SendGrid API: https://docs.sendgrid.com/api-reference/how-to-use-the-sendgrid-v3-api/authentication
App APIs can be used in Zaps with the Webhook app or Code app.
