Every time a cleaning is set up an email is sent to my company.  The owner doesn’t want to give us full access to Hostaway, the scheduling app so I’m trying to automate the incoming emails with all the scheduling information to my google calendar for employee assignment.

Hi there @EForm80 and welcome to the Zapier Community!

Hm, interesting. Usually with Zapier, you do need admin access to set up a Zap, such as these Hostaway Integrations: https://zapier.com/apps/hostaway/integrations

However, one tool we have that may help you accomplish what you are looking for is Email Parser by Zapier, this allows you to pull out relevant info and set up your calendar invite. I have the help documentation for you to check out here: https://zapier.com/apps/email-parser/help

I’d recommend checking both of these out, and coming back if you hit any snags when setting up your first Zap.

Best,

Rachael

Hi Rachel,

I know what I want to do but cannot figure out Zapier.  I am not as technologically advanced as I need to be evidently, and am lost.  Is there anyway for someone to walk through the process with me?  I can’t imagine it’s that hard for someone who knows the system.  I am simply trying to get it to pull the relevant data off of an automatically generated email and put it into a Google Calendar event.

Hi @EForm80

If you need help, consider hiring a Certified Zapier Expert: https://zapier.com/experts/automation-ace

Hi there @EForm80 , I hear you, it can be frustrating when you can’t get your Zap quite right. As our Support is structured, we don’t have the ability to do live triaging- our Community here is and our Help Docs are designed to help you with the process.

If you want, what we can do for support is see how your Zap is configured and where you’re getting stuck? If we can see your Zap setup, we can use the Community help here to make sure you get an answer to your question.

If you do want someone to just make the Zap for you, an Expert as Troy mentioned above is a good method.

Best, Rachael
