Question

Auto populating a PDF / Google Slide with name and date and send

Looking to create the best zap for the following:

  1. Someone on Kajabi completes a course (can be tagged)
  2. A certificate (PDF) is auto-populated with name and date of course completion (date being auto populated is less important)
  3. The populated PDF is then sent to the person who has completed the course.

I so far have managed to use a tag to populate a google slide which background is my certificate with a textbox using: {{name}}

A new slide is created (separate document) with the name of the person as the title of the document. I then get stuck to how I am then meant to send to them.

Open to ideas or changing the way in which I create the flow.

Hi @Amy Aylett

Try these Zap steps:

  1. Trigger: Kajabi - Assessment Completed
  2. Action: GSlides - Create Presentation from Template
    1. Help: https://zapier.com/apps/google-slides/integrations#help
    2. This will return a link to the PDF version of the GSlides
  3. Action: Gmail - Send Email
    1. Include PDF as an attachment or as a download link in the email body

If you need more help, post screenshots and provide details about what issues you are having with configuring the Zap steps.

Hi @Amy Aylett,

I just came across your post and thought I’d check in. Were you able to get things sorted with Troy’s recommendation?
