Assign number to new Mailchimp Subscriber

I would like to assign a sequential number to new Mailchimp subscribers, and was told this is possible through native Zapier apps, but am unable to find out exactly how to do this through the knowledge base and support topics.

New subscriber > assign sequential number (ex: 5000, 5001, 5002, etc) to merge field

This merge field will be used as a “reservation” number for further Typeform integrations and follow up correspondence.

Any help to point me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.

Hi @RAVN

Good question.

You can use this Zap action: Storage - Increment Value

You can use this Zap action: Storage - Increment Value

Thank you very much for the prompt reply. I will try this out now.

@Troy Tessalone okay. it seems to be working. Thank you for the quick assist on this.

Is there a way to change the starting number? I just saw the key and what incremental value to increase them by, but no way to set the “Starting point” for those numbers. Is it possible that it’s a separate step, or not an option at all?
