Asana extract assigned to email address

Hi Zapier community, 


I am working on a solution for my team, where we are transposing information from Asana to SmartSheet using Zapier. 


I would like to transpose the assignee email address from a task in Asana to SmartSheet. When I try to setup the action, I do not see any dynamic content to input email address in SmartSheet (please see attached screenshot). Any suggestions?

Try using this Zap step: Asana - Find User

Thank you for your support - I really appreciate it! 


This step does allow me to extract the email address. 

But I have run into another error now when I try to transpose the email into a Contact List typecolumn in SmartSheet (see attached). Any ideas? 

An additional question - 


So if the Asana task is unassigned, the Zap gives an error as it is unable to find a user. 


As you can see, I have marked true if action returns nothing. The error I receive is - “required field is empty”. Is there a way to add a condition that allows the Zap to continue despite the error?

For the conditional logic you can try using Filters/Paths in your Zap.
