we were wondering if there is any update concerning the fact that the API uses the Contact Name rather then the Account Number when using the Create or Update action.
In our case if an user changes his/her company name (which happens from time to time), the API returns an error as his/her account_number stays unchanged, so Xero will try to create a new profile and would complains that a contact uses the same account_number.
So if we have to create a new contact altogether we will no longer have the history of all that happen with that company in the past, except if we remember that they were called something else in the past and open that profile.
A thread was opened a year ago, but can’t find any update about it anywhere -
Anyone has an update on the matter? Or a workaround ?
