  • Airtable multi-select column - Multiple comma-separated selections being added as single item


Hi All,

I”m having the opposite problem:

  • I have a Typeform and I’m using Zapier to send data to Airtable
  • For a multi select column, instead of airtable breaking out each comma-separate selection into it’s own item, it is grouping the whole shebang into 1 item. i.e. Account Executive, Enterprise Sales, Partnerships, Sales Leadership / Management is 1 new multi-select item instead of 4 different items. 

How did you get zapier to break out comma separated values to be different items when added to an airtable multiselect field?

Instead of Typeform Trigger, use Webhooks by Zapier in trigger. Below are some articles that can help you ,

I have tested the above method and using Webhooks by Zapier works.

You can try using a Formatter > Utilities > Text to Line Items step in your Zap.
