Hi everyone,
Quick question—does anyone here have experience with AI chatbots and their integration with scheduling tools like Google Calendar or Calendly?

Here’s what I’m trying to achieve:
I want my AI chatbot to handle website submissions that include scheduling requests. Ideally, the chatbot should be able to read availability from Google Calendar and suggest alternative times if the chosen slot is unavailable. For example, if a prospect selects a time that’s already booked, the chatbot would check the calendar and provide available options.

Is this type of integration possible with Zapier? If so, could someone guide me on how to set this up? Any tips, resources, or examples would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hi @ianrusselgabod,

Welcome to the Community.

To integrate a chatbot with Google Calendar using Zapier, choose a chatbot platform like ManyChat or Chatfuel that supports Zapier. Set up the chatbot to collect scheduling requests, then connect it to Zapier to trigger when a user submits a request. Use Zapier's Google Calendar actions to check availability and find alternative times if the requested slot is unavailable. Finally, send these suggestions back to the chatbot. While this automates availability checks and suggestions, booking the time must be handled separately.

We're looking forward to hearing from you soon.
