I’m trying to have any new email records (sent or received) on Gmail added to the existing Follow Up Boss contact.

I’ve tried using a template from this article https://zapier.com/blog/real-estate-automation/ . However, it hasn’t worked for me yet. I used the template “add new follow up boss contacts from new emails matching a search on Gmail Business Gmail Accounts Only].

I also tried creating my own Zap, with a custom action I created using Zapiers AI feature.

1. New Email in Gmail (Trigger: Label/Mailbox: SENT)
2. Find a Contact in Follow Up Boss
   1. (Event: Find a Contact)
   2. (Action: Contact Phone, Email, or ID = Data Field: To Emails)
3. Add Email to Contact (Custom Action)

When I tested this, the test came back positive, but had this message at the bottom of the test: “

Nothing updated on the contact page in Follow Up Boss.

Anybody have any advice on how to make this integration work?
