Acuity Flow Into Lightspeed

Hi there,

It seems from your onboarding page that creating appointments in Acuity and having this flow into Lightspeed X-Series is a solved problem. However, when I click into the integration link as presented on this page (URL/screenshot), no workflow or template loads — it simply prompts me to connect to Acuity, and then everything beyond that appears to require manual setup.

Can you clarify:

  1. Is there actually a pre-built Zap or supported workflow for sending Acuity appointments into Lightspeed X-Series?

  2. If so, how should this be configured once both accounts are connected?

  3. If not, what is the recommended method to have Acuity appointment data sync into Lightspeed?

Thank you — just trying to understand whether this is a supported integration or something I need to build from scratch.

Hey @amanno,

I don’t think Lightspeed is currently supported if you see here- https://zapier.com/apps/lightspeed/integrations. But there is an API(https://www.lightspeedhq.com/pos/retail/api/) so you can use Webhooks in Zapier to connect to the API. Here is a helpful article about webhooks in Zapier- https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496326446989-Send-webhooks-in-Zaps.

For Acuity you can just use it’s native triggers/ actions. Hope it helps!

Hi @amanno

Lightspeed is not yet supported as a Zap app integration.

If you need to hire help, there is a directory of Zapier Partners: https://zapier.com/partnerdirectory

Hi @amanno, welcome to the Community! 🎉

You’re right, there is indeed a Lightspeed Retail POS (X-Series) app integration available on Zapier!

1. Is there actually a pre-built Zap or supported workflow for sending Acuity appointments into Lightspeed X-Series?

I’m not seeing any pre-existing Zap templates for workflows between Acuity Scheduling and Lightspeed Retail POS (X-Series) specifically. But you can view all of the available triggers and actions for those apps here:

2. If so, how should this be configured once both accounts are connected?

It would depend on the specific trigger and actions you select for the Zap as the configuration fields/settings would vary depending on the use case you’re wanting to built. You can learn more about how to set up triggers and actions in the following guides:

That said, to help reduce the amount of manual work in setting up your Zaps you could try our Copilot assistant which would be able to help setup and make updates to the Zap on your behalf. Check out our Use the power of AI to generate Zaps guide to learn more.

3. If not, what is the recommended method to have Acuity appointment data sync into Lightspeed?

I’m not seeing any sort of “Create Appointment” action available for the Lightspeed app, there’s only Create Customer, Create Sale, Create Product or Create Customer Group. So if those available actions don’t allow you to add the necessary appointment data into Lightspeed I’d recomend contacting our Support team to submit a feature request for a “Create Appointment” action to be added.

In the meantime, if Lightspeed has an publicly-available API then you might be able to use a Webhooks by Zapier action (as Sparsh suggested) to add the appointment details into Lightspeed. Or if you’d prefer you can hire one of our certified Zapier Solution Partners (as Troy suggested).

Hope that helps to point you in the right direction. If you have any follow-up questions or get stuck setting things up, just let us know! 🙂
