Hi There,

I want to create a new row in a google sheet whenever someone uses a certain emoji in a certain slack channel. If they use X reaction, it will post the message in sheet X, if they use Y it will go to Y etc.

My first thought would be that there’s a way to include a lookup table either in the trigger or before, however, its not possible.

Other than creating multiple identical zaps, anyone have any thoughts on how to do this?

Thanks.

Ilan

Hi @Ilan B

It will cost you less in tasks to build multiple almost identical zaps however you can build it in one zap

Trigger: New Reaction added in slack. leave everything blank in set up to trigger off any channel, any user, any reaction

Step 2: Filter by Zapier to filter for only specific reactions

Step 3: Either use Look Up Table or Paths by Zapier.

Step 4: Add Row to Sheet

No problem! If you go the Look Up Table route these may be helpful
