How to insert an image into a Google Slides document when creating it from a template?

I’m attempting to create a Zap that pulls in data, including a signature PNG file, onto a Google Slides document to create a contract PDF.

While reading the thread on this topic, I learned that someone had figured out how to embed an image into a Google Slides document. However, I have not been able to get it to work. It either pulls in the URL link or text. Not the actual image.

If anyone doesn’t mind providing a few additional instructions or helpful tips, I would be so grateful!

Hi @Déu Doulas

Good question.

Tip: to pass images onto the template, you just need to create a text placeholder variable on your presentation template, then pass on a URL to a hosted image on your Zap template.
