Hi everyone,
I’m using the Zapier → Odoo CRM integration to create new Leads. In the “Create Lead” action I see the Properties field, but I couldn’t find clear documentation on how it should be used.

Specifically, I’d like to know:

  • Can this field be used to populate additional fields that don’t appear in the standard Zapier template (for example, fields created with Odoo Studio — x_studio_*)?

  • Has anyone successfully filled these extra fields by passing key/value pairs?

  • I’ve tried different combinations (e.g. Key = technical field name, Value = value), but they don’t seem to affect the created Leads.

Has anyone here managed to use the Properties field to map custom fields or other Odoo fields that are not included by default in the Zapier connector?

TIP: Click field labels to see tooltips that may have more info about expected field values and formats.

For the Properties formatting, you can try:

  • Reaching out to Odoo Support for possible help with their Zap app integration
  • Open a ticket with Zapier Support for possible guidance

 

Screenshot shows a cutoff field, but it looks like the variables mapped in the field are not structured correctly, as that will result in a long concatenated text string.
Try adding spacing, labels, and line breaks.
