So I’m a little confused on where things lie...
I found this thread:
Will Zapier provide a solution to enable set up of new Webhooks with Zoom?
It made it sound like this was a solved solution. But it’s not working for me. It also wasn’t working for the users in this thread:
Zapier Webhook validation with Zoom not working
I have a Catch Raw Web Hook set up in Zapier, and it’s showing data being captured, but the auth URL fails on the Zoom side, stating “URL validation failed. Try again later.”
What is anyone else’s current experience with this? Appreciate any and all efforts!

Odd. Hopefully second time’s a charm!
Hi
Have you reviewed the Zoom help articles?
I’ve seen that link, but how does that work in a no code situation on Zapier? (Or any other no code platform for that matter.)
Zoom states that the endpoint must:
- Be a publicly accessible https endpoint url that supports TLSv1.2+ with a valid certificate chain issued by a Certificate Authority (CA).
- Be able to accept HTTP POST requests.
- Be able to respond with a 200 or 204 HTTP Status Code.
But I don’t have any control over that from Zapier’s side do I? And how would I know what the actual issue is when all that’s returned on Zoom’s side is simply that the authorization failed?
EDIT: Let me try one more thing. My validation method may have a mistake in it.
I think this is more of the real issue:
Zap webhooks don’t allow you to control the response.
https://developers.zoom.us/docs/api/rest/webhook-reference/#verify-webhook-events
Well that explains why I’m hitting a dead-end with trying to get this to work!
So… does that mean Zoom no longer plays nice with Zapier? (Or Make, or Parabola, or etc...)
I have a direct question in to Zoom as well in regards to this on the Make platform (similar to Zapier), and if that bears any fruit, I’ll report back.
I need to think on this one for a bit on what makes sense going forward. Appreciate you helping me through this!
When I tried using Zoom Webhooks years ago this same requirement existed.
Unless you use the existing Zoom Zap triggers.
Hey
I have Zap from May 2022 that’s still working (Webhook for all Zoom registrants/attendees) but I haven’t touched it since. I’m trying to figure out how to deal with the change come Feb 2024.
Thx
I’m pushing Zoom’s support to get back to me. It’s been sitting with them for over 2 weeks and all I’ve heard so far was they bumped the request up a tier for someone to look at. Not sure what that means, but if/when I hear back, I’ll update. Thanks!
In the meantime, with the help of another forum member over at Zoom, I found that it IS possible in Pipedream, but it’s a bummer to have to use a different platform. See here:
