Zap code javascript execution taking much longer than in my test setup

I am using a javascript codeblock task within a task on a free tier. I see now that I’m limited to 1 second of execution time. My task is very simple: Make an HTTP POST. When I POST this from my PC, I regularly get a response in less than 300ms. How is this taking so much longer? Almost none of my executions are successful because of this.

Try asking ChatGPT if your JavaScript can be optimized.

 

Alternative would be to use the Webhooks Zap app to make the API request.
