Using Zapier to make an API call

I would like to automate a credit check process using Zapier/Hubspot. 

When a customer completes a form, (hubspot), we want to collect this information and make a call to the credit API, which will run the credit check and then return us the required information. 

Can anyone see how we could do this without the need to hire Engineering resource? 😅

Hi @Cloovercam! You appear comfortable utilizing API, so i want to confirm that using Webhooks to connect to the credit bureau/company is your end goal? 

Here are more details on our Hubspot triggers and actions. If this Zap is possible, it’ll likely require more than one step to achieve your end goal. The first step I’d look into is the New Form Submission Trigger.

Good question.

You can use the Webhooks app as an action step to interact with an API.

Although it may depend on the API authentication method requirements.
