Question

Trello file upload via URL

We add cards to trello from a google spreadsheet.

One of these cells contains a URL to a public file.

However all we appear to be able todo via the file upload property is attach a document with the cells contents (file name) and not the document itself (linked)

is this fixable?

Hi @NTSUcomms

Please provide screenshots of how your Zap step is currently configured, thanks.

@NTSUcomms

It appears that many of the mapped dynamic data points have “No data” for the example record selected in the trigger.

You may want to try testing manually with a different trigger record.

Also unclear based on the screenshot what the value being mapped to ‘Uploaded Files’.

Could you try adding another step after this which attaches the file you'd like. There should be an Attachment to Card step in trello

Tried as an additional step. No change.

The problem appears to be that the URL is a link but the link is named the file name e.g. document.docx as opposed to the path.

Is it possible to see the RAW POST data sent?
