Need help with Webhooks and Google Sheets

I am very much a novice at this, but attempting to build a Google Sheet that I populate different columns and then when the content is “Ready”, the Zap will begin its process. What I’d like to do is have a Column labeled “Ready” and if the value is “Yes,” the Zap proceeds against the other content present.

I turned to ChatGPT to help solve this problem, but it keeps referring me to “Catch Hook” as part of Webhooks, and that does not exist for me (only Custom Actions, GET, PUSH or PUT). I am on a Pro plan, so perhaps that’s an even higher tier of access.

I know I can do more or less do this on a Row level, but that would make the sheet a bit unwieldy.

Open to suggestions or options, and thanks in advance!

Annika

Hi @AnnikaReed

Perhaps try using Airtable instead of GSheets.

https://zapier.com/apps/airtable/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Airtable has specific field types. (e.g. dropdown)

You can configure a View with filter conditions.

When a record matches the View filter conditions and enters the View it can trigger a Zap.
