Hi,

I use Zapier for some Marketo integrations we have for campaign management and other stuff.

Marketo’s API module is not always reliable as it will reply 601 errors stating my invalid access token when I’ve just refreshed it in the same Zap.

To make sure it was coming from Zapier, I ran the exact same process in Postman and the process ran correctly.

Can Zapier look into this issue? Has anyone experienced something similar?

It is a pity that such  a powerful tool like Zapier can have these bugs that hinder their customers escalability...

Hi @Thinking Ops

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing the encountered Zap Runs step error as well as how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode so we can see the field types and field mappings.

If you suspect an issue with the Marketo Zap app integration, then try opening a ticket with Zapier Support: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

Hi @Thinking Ops,

Before we dive deeper into this issue, could you please provide a detailed screenshot of how your Zap is configured?

Additionally, it would be helpful if you could share a screenshot of the “CONFIGURE” section of the action step that displays all the fields, along with a screenshot of the error message you’re encountering. This information will allow us to examine the issue more closely.

Please don't include personal information in the screenshot, or be sure blur out any personal information.

Thanks!

Hi both, sure.

This is where I grab the acces token. I’m using Zapier’s webhook step:

This is the response of the Zap that failed,

I use the the Access token in my POST request to clone a program in Marketo:

Now while taking the screenshots, the access token should be referenced in the Query String Parameters., right? I remember Zapier still wouldn’t catch the access token correctly.

Thanks for your input.

Happened again even with the access token as a query parameter 😄

If this is not faulty then I don’t know what’s happening!
